TwentyTwo offers an exclusive whole-venue setting for a wake or celebration of life, where family and friends can gather privately. Hire is available any day of the week, with capacity for up to 150 guests standing. All four spaces are included: the main bar, front lounge, green panelled lounge and covered garden. The main bar has a long marble-top bar alongside a street-art mural. In the front lounge, mirrors and velvet banquettes provide a distinct setting; there is also a green panelled lounge and a covered garden with festoon lights. The booking gives your gathering access to the whole venue rather than a single room. There is no minimum spend, and the fee is a flat charge for the chosen slot.
The morning period is 7am to 12pm (midday), daytime is 12pm to 5pm, and evening is 6pm to midnight. Morning hire is £150 Monday to Thursday, £175 Friday, £200 Saturday and £175 Sunday, including December. Daytime costs £200 Monday to Thursday, £250 Friday, £300 Saturday and £250 Sunday. Evening rates are £350 Monday to Thursday, £550 Friday, £650 Saturday and £400 Sunday. December evening rates are £500 Monday to Thursday, £850 Friday, £950 Saturday and £550 Sunday; December daytime is charged at normal daytime prices. Consider the time period and day of the week when choosing a slot for your gathering.
The flat hire fee is paid in full upfront to confirm, and there is no separate deposit. All bookings are final and non-refundable once paid. TwentyTwo does not serve food, so arrange your own external caterer if refreshments or a meal are part of the gathering. The hirer can make a drinks menu, or ask the bar to create a menu for the hirer's approval. Bar staff are £20 per member per hour, with a four-hour minimum. If you bring your own staff, TwentyTwo provides no bar service or assistance. A DJ can be booked for £350 for four hours, or £450 on Fridays and Saturdays in December, for any slot. A later finish is £75 per hour, evening-only and subject to the premises licence.
Morning hire is available from 7am to 12pm (midday). Food is not supplied, including for a morning gathering, so catering is arranged by the hirer.
